Classification: Accounts Payable Clerk
Compensation: $24.70 to $28.80 hourly
Robert Half has an outstanding opportunity for a long-term contract / contract / temporary Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join the team at a premier company. The Accounts Payable Clerk will resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, process checks, and match, batch, and code invoices. As the role progresses , more responsibilities will be assigned to the Accounts Payable Clerk. Located in Vancouver, British Columbia, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / contract / temporary opening.
How you will make an impact
- Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies - Provide customer service to internal business partners - Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them - Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks - Perform special projects as assigned - Perform full-cycle A/P - Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling - Provide internal and external audit assistance as required - Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily- Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred - Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred - Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) - Expertise in account reconciliation - Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
