Job Description
Elements Casino Surrey is currently recruiting for a results-driven and detail oriented Food & Beverage Supervisor! The Food and Beverage Supervisor is directly responsible for overseeing Bartenders, Servers, and Hosts. The Food and Beverage Supervisor maintains efficient running of the department by complying with the duties and responsibilities as outlined below in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, rules, regulations and standards.
Duties & Responsibilites:
- Monitor operations on a shift basis and report issues to F&B Management
- Perform server, bartender or host/hostess role in lad capacity
- Completes shift reports at the end of each shift
- Assist with month end inventories
- Work on special initiatives as delegated by F&B Management Team
- Assist with training new team Members
- Laisses and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Develop and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Perform others duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year practical Front-Of-House Food & Beverage experience working in a high-volume restaurant or environment.
- Minimum 1 year previous Supervisory/Managerial experience an asset
- Serving It Right certificate
- Post Secondary Culinary education an asset
- POS experience an asset
- Thorough knowledge of BCLC and Company policies and procedures
- Proven knowledge of Food & Beverage
- A passion for providing Customer Service to our internal and external guests in the quest of achieving service excellence
- The ability to successfully obtain a criminal record and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
