I'm looking for a competent skilled labourer to work on residential projects. You will be assisting me install exterior foam-coated cement mouldings. This lightweight, and durable, material is affixed to residential façades.
Experience in working on construction sites ands using power tools is a plus. You must have physical strength, endurance, and work well with your hands. Being good in collaboration and following instructions and safety rules, are also important.
Responsibilities
- Assist tradesperson on site
- Erect and break up scaffolding, etc.. with attention to safety
- Unload and carry materials on site
- Use equipment to cut materials to size
- Prepare and apply construction materials to build structures or fill gaps (e.g. cement, caulking, touch-ups, etc.)
- Clean out site from debris and discarded materials
Requirements and skills
- Minimum one year of experience in construction
- Experience in operating power tools and cutting to measurement
- Must have a vehicle to commute to different sites
- Ability to work in different weather conditions
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Ability to communicate in English (spoken and written)
- Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination
- You have a positive work ethic and take initiative in your work
- Knowledge of mixing and applying construction material is a plus

- Will pay $1,500/annually directly towards medical bills. This benefit can be accessed after a 3-month probation period. Receipts must be provided.
